Depuis 2020, la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale du Motocyclisme (FIM) impose aux pilotes le port d&rsquo;un casque homologu\u00e9 par ses soins en MotoGP et dans ses autres comp\u00e9titions. Mais qu&rsquo;est-ce que \u00e7a veut dire homologu\u00e9 par la FIM ? Et surtout, qu&rsquo;est-ce que \u00e7a change par rapport \u00e0 un casque routier classique ? On vous explique le pourquoi du comment !<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Jusqu&rsquo;en 2020, la FIM s&rsquo;en remettait aux normes d&rsquo;homologation routi\u00e8res r\u00e9gionales (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.motoblouz.com\/enjoytheride\/conseils-equipement\/26883-homologation-casques-moto-2024-11-19\">ECE 22.05 et 22.06 en France<\/a>) pour autoriser les casques en cat\u00e9gorie MotoGP comme dans ses autres comp\u00e9titions. Histoire de valider les casques qu&rsquo;il estime comme plus protecteurs en usage comp\u00e9tition, Le <em>FIM Racing Homologation Programme for helmets<\/em> (FRHPhe, ou Programme d&rsquo;homologation FIM pour les casques) a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de mettre au point sa propre norme.<\/p>\n<h2>Une norme d&rsquo;harmonisation<\/h2>\n<p>Soyons clairs : l&rsquo;homologation FIM ne se substitue aux diff\u00e9rentes normes d&rsquo;homologations des casques \u00e0 travers le monde (ECE 22.05 et 22.06 en Europe, SNELL M 2015 aux \u00c9tats-Unis, JIS T8133 au Japon). C&rsquo;est plut\u00f4t une surcouche qui s&rsquo;appuie sur les homologations existantes, et qui permet d&rsquo;harmoniser le niveau de protection offert par chaque norme.<\/p>\n<p>Pour gagner l&rsquo;homologation FIM, un casque doit donc r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 un protocole compl\u00e9mentaire \u00e0 celui de son homologation initiale validant son niveau de protection pour les comp\u00e9titions FIM. Ce test permet d&rsquo;\u00e9valuer le niveau de protection contre les fractures du cr\u00e2ne apport\u00e9 par le calottin EPS.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Impact oblique :<\/strong> Assez similaire \u00e0 ceux d\u00e9sormais pratiqu\u00e9s dans les tests d\u00e9finis par la norme ECE 22.06, ce test correspond \u00e0 un sc\u00e9nario commun dans les accidents de la route : la rotation. Le casque est projet\u00e9 contre une enclume oblique afin d&rsquo;\u00e9valuer le niveau de protection du casque contre les l\u00e9sions au cerveau induites par une rotation rapide de la t\u00eate.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Test de p\u00e9n\u00e9tration :<\/strong> Permet d&rsquo;\u00e9valuer la r\u00e9sistance de la calotte en cas de chute contre un objet pointu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le protocole requiert le test de chaque taille de casque individuellement. Ceci explique que certains mod\u00e8les de casques racing sont homologu\u00e9s FIM dans certaines de leurs tailles seulement.<\/p>\n<h2>Un casque homologu\u00e9 par la FIM sur route ?<\/h2>\n<p>Sur route, les normes en vigueur restent les homologations ECE 22.05 et ECE 22.06. Cette \u00e9tiquette arbore un logo FIM en hologramme, accompagn\u00e9 d&rsquo;un QR Code.
