L&rsquo;axe de ce compresseur est entra\u00een\u00e9 par un train d&rsquo;engrenages plan\u00e9taires connect\u00e9s au vilebrequin, qui surmultiplient la vitesse de rotation de la turbine de 9,2 fois. Celle-ci fait appel \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me \u00ab\u00a0dog ring\u00a0\u00bb, gr\u00e2ce auquel les pignons de la bo\u00eete restent en place. Kawasaki l&rsquo;assure suffisamment r\u00e9sistant et flexible pour garantir une stabilit\u00e9 optimale de la moto \u00e0 haute vitesse. Cette probl\u00e9matique, qui concernait jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent seulement les pr\u00e9parateurs de dragsters adeptes de kits NOS et autres turbos, touche sans doute pour la premi\u00e8re fois une moto de s\u00e9rie. <strong>Kawasaki a donc usin\u00e9 dans la jante arri\u00e8re ces sculptures en forme de dents<\/strong>. Le bord du pneu, qui s&rsquo;y plaque, est bloqu\u00e9 et ne peut riper dans la jante, si bien que tous les chevaux sont transmis au bitume de la route.
