SR Team
A look back at a success story

Team SR came into being in the winter of 2010, thanks to the work of driver and team manager Josse Sallefranque. The young team wasted no time in making its first starts in 2011. Josse's aim is clearly to make a name for himself on the French off-road scene. For this reason, he is quick to surround himself with well-known drivers. Fabien Izoird signed his first contract with the team in 2013. He was followed by Valentin Teillet the following year. The three riders made a name for themselves right from their first races in the French Elite Championship and the SX Tour Championship, and took part in most of the major international motocross events.
After Dan Houzet's stint in 2016, the 2017 season begins with three new major assets in the SR team's pocket: Thoma Do, Richard Fura and Xavier Boog.

Riders, machines and talent!

Surrounding yourself with guys capable of climbing the podium steps is all well and good. But in 2013, Josse came up trumps again: his team became an official Suzuki team, a fine calling card with sponsors, and above all the chance to benefit from substantial technical and financial support for the bikes. In 2015, Honda signs with the team, taking performance and logistics to a new level.

The mechanics

No viable team without a mechanic! Four of these trustworthy men prepare and repair Team SR Motoblouz's Honda CRFs. More than just technicians, they come from the riders' inner circle, because trust and complicity play a big part in the success of operations.

Work, machines and talent:
All the ingredients for a success story.
And good results follow!
Team SR Motoblouz riders
Thomas Do, Team SR Motoblouz
Thomas DO

Thomas specializes in the 250cc class, and more specifically in Supercross. The Vaucluse-born rider has a long list of trophies on the shelf in his living room. French SX2 champion in 2014 and 2015, and third in the championship in 2016, Thomas Do doesn't really have to prove himself any more. So it's with high ambitions that this 1997-born lad has joined the SR team for the 2017 season. On the program: Elite MX2 races, SX Tour 2017 and Pro Hexis Supercross. Watch out, guys, we're in for a treat!

His track record
2014 French Supercross SX2 Champion
2015 French Supercross SX2 Champion
2016 Third in the French Supercross SX2 Championship
Whip (Mecano)

There comes a time when the nickname trumps the name. Such is the case for Whip, who has been a mechanic with the SR team for the past two years. Aged 30, this enthusiast is also a hobby driver during the rare hours the team leaves him free.

Fabien IZOIRD

Dubbed "the metronome" by his peers, Fabien IZOIRD from the Sétois region of France is shaking up the competition thanks to his regularity and constant ability to progress. Although, as a multiple French 450 Champion, he no longer has to prove himself in Supercross other than to polish his six cups, his objective for 2017 is to earn a place in the top 5 of the Elite MX1 category. Three successive accidents prevented him from completing this challenge in 2016, so it's safe to say he's back on track this season!

His track record
2013 French Supercross SX1 Champion
Fourth in the French Elite MX1 Championship
2014 French Supercross SX1 Champion
2015 French Supercross SX1 Champion
2016 Third in the French Supercross SX1 Championship
Clément LAGRÈNE (Mechanic)

Also a driver in the Pays de la Loire league, Clément is a big name in his field. His dream came true at the end of the 2015 season: he looked after Fabien's machine and saw the object of his work carry the driver to his French SX1 Championship title!

Richard Fura, team SR Motoblouz
Richard FURA

Richard belongs to the great family of sand racers. Known as the white wolf in Le Touquet, this is the Picard's fifth participation in the Enduropale, where his goal for 2018 is to climb onto the second step of the podium. Impossible to imagine anything less after a third-place finish in 2017 on the SR team's Honda. And this despite his shoulder injury, which gives you an idea of the boy's level... Second in the 2017 French Sand Championship, he'll also be inviting himself to the French Elite Championship as soon as he's back on form.

His track record
2009 French Junior MX 125 Champion
2015 Fourth in the French Sand Championship
2016 Fourth French Sand Championship
2017 Vice-Champion of France des sables
Third at L'enduropale du Touquet
Julien et Richard Fura
Julien FURA (Mechanic)

Who better than a brother to get 100% involved in setting up a champion's bike? Julien Fura, former Minivert Picardie rider, knows what he's talking about. Cross-country racing runs in the Fura family!

Xavier Boog, Team SR Motoblouz
Xavier BOOG

So we're a bit bored with Xavier, because his endless list of achievements completely ruins the layout of this little presentation of the SR team... On a more serious note, the Alsatian racks up titles like a gangster wads of cash. Three-time French MX1 champion, twice 7th in MXGP, he's the only one of our four compatriots to take the start in the most categories: MX, SX, Enduropale and MXGP (international, that is). Suffice it to say, he's a top-class rider! Xavier joined the team at the end of 2016, directly boosting the motorcycle press's interest in our favorite team. Magic!

His track record
2010 Seventh in the MX World Championship
French MX1 Champion
2011 Seventh MX World Championship
French MX1 Champion
2015 MX1 French Champion
Aurélien RICCOBENE (Mechanic)

Aurélien earned his stripes with Valentin Teillet through his seriousness in his work and his ability to pull the plug when necessary. Now a member of Xavier's Service team, this mechanic also works in his spare time, running a motorcycle garage!

Josse Sallefranque, Team SR manager

The team's founder is also one of its main contributors to the SX2 titles won by the SR Motoblouz team! But since 2016, the man has decided to hang up his helmet to devote 100% of his time to managing his team. Between the management of his four riders, the logistics of travelling to circuits in France and Navarre, the hunt for sponsors, the organization of the Hexis Supercross, etc., the Frenchman has more than enough to keep him busy full-time!

His track record
2011 Runner-up in the French Supercross SX2 Championship
Fifth in the French Supercross SX1 Championship
2012 French Supercross SX2 Champion
Prince de Bercy
2014 Vice-Champion of France Supercross SX2
2015 Fourth in the French Supercross SX2 Championship
