Since its inception, Motoblouz has committed to offering products that comply with applicable regulatory requirements and actively contributing to the prevention, reduction, and recycling of waste from the products we market.

In accordance with the principle of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) set out in the Environmental Code, Motoblouz is a member of approved eco-organisations to ensure the financing and organisation of the collection, recycling, and recovery of the products concerned at the end of their life.

In this regard, Motoblouz is a member of the following schemes:

• REFASHION for the textile sector / IDU FR379091_11BGPL
• ECOLOGIC for the small IT and electronic equipment sector / IDU FR379091_05KVEK
• ECOLOGIC for the ASL sector excluding cycles and EDP / IDU FR379091_13FCDP
• SCRELEC for the portable batteries sector / IDU FR379091_06AOEZ
• CYCLEVIA for the oils sector / IDU FR379091_17WEDP
• ECODDS for the chemical waste sector / IDU under development

This page aims to inform you about the available take-back solutions for the products concerned and to guide you towards the appropriate collection schemes to promote their recycling and recovery.

All our unique identifiers (IDU) are also available in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale, in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Code.

Take-back and Recycling of Your Products After Use

Some products sold on our site, once used, should not be thrown away with household waste. They must be deposited at appropriate collection points to allow their treatment in approved schemes and to limit their impact on the environment.

Which Products Are Concerned?

Depending on their nature, the products sold on Motoblouz may fall under different collection schemes.

Maintenance Chemicals (EcoDDS)

Chemicals intended for the maintenance or servicing of your motorcycle may be concerned, including:

• brake cleaners;
• degreasers;
• engine cleaners;
• solvents;
• glues;
• sealants;
• paints;
• technical aerosols;
• certain lubricants and maintenance products.

When they are covered by this scheme, these products and their containers must not be disposed of with household waste.

They must be deposited at an appropriate collection point.

Engine Oils and Lubricants (Cyclevia)

Used engine oils, transmission oils, fork oils, and other lubricating oils must be returned to a specific collection scheme.

Never pour used oil down the drain, into nature, or with household waste.

Used oils can be deposited at:

• a recycling centre that accepts used oils;
• a garage or workshop participating in the collection;
• any other collection point partnered with the Cyclevia scheme.

Motorcycle Batteries (Screlec)

Lead batteries and certain batteries used on motorcycles are recyclable.

They must never be thrown away with household waste.

You can deposit them:

• at a recycling centre;
• at a professional participating in the collection;
• at any collection point partnered with the Screlec scheme.
