Features

BMC Air Filter - FM542/08: an intake element designed for discerning motorcyclists. Crafted with the spirit of competition components, this BMC filter offers a balance between engine protection and optimal airflow, ideal for modern roadsters.

Monobloc construction: no gaskets that could break.
Special cotton filter element impregnated with low-viscosity oil for effective filtration while facilitating airflow.
Epoxy mesh resistant to gasoline vapours and oxidation for enhanced longevity.
Washable and reusable: maintenance possible with specific BMC cleaning products.
Optimised airflow to minimise power loss compared to traditional paper filters.

Cotton filters are evaluated on four criteria: permeability (allowing useful air to pass), filtration (blocking particles), retention (holding impurities), and reusability (maintenance possible). The FM542/08 meets these requirements to provide a durable solution suitable for sporty road use.
