The range of Malossi engine crankcases has been extended to include a new and valuable piece: Air Force, the new gearbox crankcase cover compatible with the horizontal Yamaha Minarelli engines.
It is called Air Force because its strength lies in simultaneously introducing a larger mass of air, directed precisely onto the transmission components, and increasing the capacity for extracting hot air.
The resulting advantage is a significant reduction in the temperature of the overload chamber and consequently greater stability and a longer service life for the gearbox. The Air Force, manufactured using the die casting process, increases the mechanical strength of the entire assembly with its structure, thus perfecting a precise and dynamic driving feel.
Its internal shape finally allows the entire space required for the clutch bell at the rear, thereby significantly increasing the volume available for the gearbox while also considerably reducing the lateral dimensions compared to a standard gearbox.
