VO2 Cage Fighter Air Intake by VANCE & HINES (manufacturer part no. 40366): a boldly designed air cleaner, made for custom riders and touring enthusiasts who want to enhance the breathing of their Harley. Its laser-cut cage and large intake plate provide a contrasting black "Cage Fighter" style while directing air to the filter element for optimized airflow.
- Materials: stainless steel for the structure, washable and reusable cotton gauze filter media.
- Design: black finish with contrast, round filter shape, Force™ Velocity Stack for structured airflow.
- Usage: suitable for Vintage/Classic and Touring, refined aesthetics for customs and long rides.
- Manufacturing: designed and assembled in the United States.
The kit promotes a greater air supply to the filter element and can improve engine response across a wide range of RPMs, without claiming unverified numerical values. Installation note: CVO/114cc/117cc models and those equipped with an S&S (SE) Stage 1 air filter require Harley-Davidson support part no. 16400049.
Compatibility examples: Harley-Davidson Road Glide, Freewheeler, and Tri Glide 114 (2025 models listed). An aesthetic and functional choice for those who want to combine style with controlled engine breathing.
