Designed to enhance luggage security during demanding travels, the Luggage Security Kit - Gobi from Hepco & Becker allows for the secure locking of Gobi side cases onto the luggage rack. Ideal for road trips, raids, and expeditions, this kit provides a simple and robust solution to minimise the risk of theft and prevent loosening of the fittings in off-road conditions.
The principle is straightforward: a special bracket attaches to the outside and fits behind the case support, making the fitting inaccessible from the outside. Inside the case, large knurled screws allow for manual tightening and secure the entire assembly. A retaining lock completes the system to lock the case onto its support.
- Usage: specifically for Gobi side cases (Hepco & Becker).
- Components: external bracket, internal knurled screws, and retaining lock.
- Advantage: hidden and lockable fitting, suitable for demanding travels.
- Installation: attaches to the luggage rack and is operated from inside the case.
Brand: Hepco & Becker — Manufacturer's ref: 750008. A practical accessory for those looking to prepare their Gobi luggage for the rigours of the road without compromising on security.
