Reference: MSR-215 — Rear master cylinder repair kit TOURMAX for Yamaha.
This TOURMAX kit includes the necessary wear parts to refurbish the rear brake master cylinder and maintain the braking system of your roadster. Ideal for riders who want to restore the rear brake control without replacing the entire housing.
- Included in the kit: piston, spring, spacer, circlips, bellows.
- Compatible parts notably with: YAMAHA XT 600 E (3TB) — models 1995 to 1997.
By replacing the internal components (piston and spring) and the sealing bellows, you eliminate excessive play and the risks of water or dirt ingress that can compromise the control. The kit is intended for routine maintenance operations: disassembly, cleaning, replacement of seals, and bleeding the system before restarting.
Practical advice: use brake fluid that complies with manufacturer recommendations, work cleanly to avoid contamination, and check the proper functioning of the lever after installation. For a lasting result, respect the torque specifications and Yamaha assembly procedures, or entrust the intervention to a workshop if necessary.
