These pads feature an improvement in thermal cycling: they can be used in races, cooled, and then reused without significant loss of performance. The new material shows better wear resistance and reduces disc/rotor abrasion compared to previous generations — under track conditions, EBC indicates a lifespan that can cover four to five races of 20 to 25 laps depending on circuit length and riding style.
