
ANDREWS valve kit, designed to replace the camshaft on chain-driven engines. Forged from alloy steel billets and heat-treated, this camshaft has been developed using computer-aided design tools to provide an opening map suitable for touring and vintage engines. Made in the USA, it targets builds seeking an engine behaviour focused on torque and high-end power while remaining compatible with most chain drive systems.
Installation information and compatibility: shafts for 2000–2006 models equipped with a splined drive gear; for 1999, a splined gear is required. Designed for 88"–95" engines with a compression ratio ≥ 9.5:1. The installer must check the spring bind, valve-to-valve and valve-to-piston clearances before commissioning; original lifters may be retained depending on their condition.
