Product details :

Features

HOT CAMS Exhaust Camshaft - Level 1 (manufacturer part number: 4164-1EX) designed for Yamaha YZ450F CJ15. Developed by HOT CAMS and tested on test benches, then validated by teams, this Stage 1 exhaust camshaft aims to improve engine response for motocross use without requiring other major modifications.

Usage: suitable for motocross.
Desired effect: increase in torque and usable power, compatible with light tuning.
Installation: installation recommended by a professional with the appropriate tools.

This Stage 1 is ideal for riders who want to optimise the rev range and responsiveness of the bike without altering the original configuration. Two complete sets of shims are provided to allow precise adjustment of the valve clearance and a suitable timing for your cylinder head.

Warning: installing a modified camshaft requires adherence to manufacturer recommendations and checking clearances and torque settings. Entrust the operation to an experienced mechanic if you are not familiar with timing operations.
