HOT CAMS Exhaust Camshaft - Stage 1 (Manufacturer Ref: 2040-1E) is a cam dedicated to Cross practice, developed and refined on test benches and in competition by HOT CAMS. Designed to improve engine response without requiring other modifications, this Stage 1 cam prioritises the increase of torque and usable power while remaining compatible with an original configuration.

• Stage 1: optimisation of the low/mid range for better enjoyment and more incisive handling without additional adjustments.
• Stage 2: intended for more advanced preparations; requires adaptations such as high-compression pistons and enhanced carburation to express its potential.
• Stage 3: developed for specific uses (supermoto or increased displacement); to be fitted with the original valve springs if specified.

Fitting a camshaft remains a delicate operation: we recommend installation by a professional with the appropriate tools and skills in timing. Two complete sets of shims are provided for precise valve timing adjustment and an appropriate valve clearance.
