HOT CAMS Intake Camshaft - Stage 1 for Yamaha YFZ450
Designed by HOT CAMS and validated on test benches, this Stage 1 camshaft is aimed at riders seeking more torque and better engine responsiveness without heavy modifications. Suitable for the Yamaha YFZ450 quad, it features a profile designed to enhance high-end fuel delivery while remaining compatible with the entire original drivetrain.
Stage 1: increases torque and power without any further modifications needed. Ideal for a light tuning.
Stage 2: intended for extensive tuning, requires additional parts (high compression pistons, larger carburetor) to fully exploit its advantages.
Stage 3: developed for Supermotard use or for increasing displacement (reassembly with original valve springs).
Installation requires precision and tools: it is highly recommended to entrust the operation to a skilled technician. Two complete sets of shim kits are provided to correctly adjust the timing and lifts and ensure a tuning that faithfully matches the cam profile.
