HOT CAMS Camshaft - Stage 1 for Honda (manufacturer ref. 1004-1)

Designed for riders who want a livelier engine behaviour without heavy modifications, this HOT CAMS Stage 1 camshaft promotes an increase in torque and usable power at low and mid-range RPM. Developed on test benches and proven in competition by renowned teams, HOT CAMS profiles offer a sharper rev range while remaining suitable for a configuration close to stock.

• Stage 1: improvement of torque and power without mandatory further modifications — perfect for a light tuning or for cross/leisure use.
• Stage 2: intended for more advanced tuning; requires other adaptations (high compression pistons, larger carburettor, etc.) to fully exploit the profile.
• Stage 3: developed for supermoto or after increasing displacement — to be fitted with the original valve springs.

Installation should be entrusted to a competent mechanic with the appropriate tools. Two complete sets of shims facilitate the precise adjustment of the timing. Ideal for regaining punch on Honda XR models and enjoying a more pronounced engine character in trail and cross.
