HOT CAMS Camshaft - Stage 1 (Manufacturer part number: 2249-1IN) by HOT CAMS. Designed and developed on test benches and then tested by high-level teams, this Stage 1 camshaft is aimed at riders looking for a simple and effective upgrade without extensive engine work.
The Stage 1 increases torque and power without requiring other major modifications: an ideal solution to enhance the engine's responsiveness and performance on a lightweight setup. HOT CAMS also offers higher stages for more advanced preparations, each tailored for specific uses.
- Stage 1 (Level 1): increases torque and power, installation alone is sufficient for a minor upgrade.
- Stage 2 (Level 2): intended for more significant upgrades; requires other adaptations (e.g., high compression pistons, oversized carburetor).
- Stage 3 (Level 3): designed for specific uses such as supermoto or engine displacement increases (reinstallation with original valve springs recommended).
Installation must be carried out by a competent person with the appropriate tools. Two complete shim kits are provided to allow for precise timing adjustment.
