HOT CAMS Camshaft - Stage 2 (Manufacturer Part No: 4005-2)
Specifically designed for Yamaha YFM660R, this HOT CAMS Stage 2 camshaft is aimed at demanding modifications on quads. Developed on test benches and validated in competition by teams, it alters the timing to better exploit an optimized setup: lifts and timings intended to enhance engine behavior in a high-performance context.
Recommended Use: advanced tuning — requires other modifications (high-compression pistons, oversized carburetor, etc.) to deliver its full potential.
Contents: supplied with two complete sets of shim kits for precise timing adjustments.
Installation: installation should be entrusted to an experienced mechanic with the appropriate tools.
This Stage 2 fits between Stage 1 (light tuning) and Stage 3 (supermoto/sleeve increase), making it suitable for riders who want to transform the torque and power curve in line with a high-performance kit. Ideal for tuning enthusiasts looking for a reworked timing while maintaining the reliability of a high-quality factory part.
