The sealed 520VG chain is designed for road racing, built around components treated for durability. Cold-forged plates and machined pins reduce weight while maintaining strength. Shot-peened surfaces and NX rings enhance fatigue resistance and wear resistance under intensive use.

Design and Materials

• Cold-forged and chamfered outer and inner plates for improved mechanical strength and extended lifespan.
• Holes drilled in the pins to reduce the overall weight of the chain, facilitating handling and limiting rotating masses.
• Shot-peened surfaces on the pins and rollers (fine OXISO shot peening) to enhance fatigue resistance and wear performance.
• Integrated NX rings to extend the service life of the chain in demanding conditions.

Usage and Performance

• Designed for use on road racing motorcycles up to 1,000 cm³, suitable for high-stress applications.
• Developed for high-level road racing, including endurance competitions, to meet endurance demands.
