520MXR 3D 520 Chain by EK CHAIN

Chain dedicated to Cross riding, designed with ThreeD technology to reduce peripheral volume and achieve a balance between strength and lightness. Precision forging and optimized assembly enhance transmission efficiency. The CHR treatment on the pins increases wear resistance in off-road conditions and limits oxidation.

Design and Materials

• 3D forging process reducing volume on the outer perimeter to minimize stress while maintaining strength
• Beveled outer plates providing a lightweight design with a 10% weight reduction
• Hollow pin reducing chain mass by 5-7% for a lighter assembly
• Optimized inner plate offering a weight reduction of 4.1%

Usage and Performance

• Precision components and rigorous assembly improving transmission efficiency for a more consistent response
• CHR treatment on the pins, hard on the outside and softer on the inside, increasing wear resistance and shock absorption in earthy or sandy terrain

Advantages

• OEM Reference 520MXR/3D-G/G 108 SP
• Cross type, suitable for demanding conditions and off-road use
• Winner of the Good Design Award® for its functional aesthetics
