520MXR 3D 520 Chain by EK CHAIN

Transmission chain designed for motocross and off-road use, made using the ThreeD precision forging process. Reduced outer profile and precise machining provide an excellent balance between lightweight and strength. CHR treatment on the pins limits wear in muddy or sandy conditions.

Design and Materials

• 3D forging offering a reduced volume outer profile to decrease mechanical stress and enhance durability
• Beveled outer plates with a 10% mass reduction for easier handling during installation
• Hollow pin providing a weight saving of 5-7% for a lighter component without sacrificing rigidity
• Optimised inner plate with a 4.1% weight reduction to lighten the assembly without loss of strength

Practicality and Features

• Precise assembly and machined components to improve transmission efficiency and provide smoother drive
• Award-winning functional aesthetics recognised by the Good Design Award® for a refined look on the motorcycle

Usage and Performance

• CHR treatment on the pins combining surface hardness and internal flexibility to better withstand wear in off-road use
• Designed for motocross and off-road riding to ensure durability suited to the demands of the terrain
