520MXR 3D 520 Chain by EK CHAIN

The 520 chain is designed for motocross and off-road use, featuring a 3D forging process that reduces the outer volume for an optimal balance of strength and lightweight. The precision machining and rigorous assembly enhance transmission efficiency. The CHR treatment on the pins increases wear resistance in muddy or sandy conditions.

Design and Materials

• 3D forging process that reduces the outer perimeter volume to minimize stress while maintaining strength and limiting weight
• Beveled outer plates with a lightweight design and a 10% weight reduction to lighten the overall chain
• Hollow pins reducing pin mass by 5-7% to decrease the inertia of moving parts

Usage and Performance

• Machined components and precise assembly for smoother transmission and better responsiveness in off-road situations
• CHR treatment on the pins making the exterior very hard and the interior more flexible to limit plate deformation and resist wear from dirt and sand

Benefits

• Award-winning functional aesthetics recognized by the Good Design Award® for a refined finish designed for use
• OEM reference 520MXR/3D-G/G 112 SP
• Cross type, suitable for Trail/Adventure, Sport/Racing, and Enduro environments
