525 Z 3D Chain - Qx2 Seals - Rivet Link by EK CHAIN

The 525 Z 3D chain is designed to transmit high torque while minimising peripheral mass through a precision-forged ThreeD® design. The optimised components and meticulous assembly enhance transmission efficiency and provide long-lasting performance for powerful motorcycles.

Design and Materials

• ThreeD® forging process creating a 3D shape with reduced peripheral volume, minimising stress on the links for increased durability
• Beveled outer plates with a 10% weight reduction, helping to decrease rotational mass
• Precisely machined assembly and components for improved transmission efficiency, beneficial for a more consistent response between engine and wheel

Usage and Performance

• Z series developed to withstand the high torque of large displacement engines, suitable for powerful and demanding motors
• Cross type indicating a design compatible with demanding uses, for a more robust chain in challenging conditions

Practicality and Features

• Hollow axle resulting in a 5-7% weight reduction, facilitating handling during installation
• Optimised inner plate with a 4.1% weight reduction, contributing to a lighter overall design of the drivetrain

Highlights

• OEM reference 525Z/3D-BK/G 120 MLJ
• Award-winning design from the Good Design Award, providing an aesthetic finish to the drivetrain
