EK 525MVXZ2 QX-Ring Drive Chain — manufacturer reference 525MVXZ2-STL 104 MLJ. Designed by EK CHAIN, this replacement chain is aimed at riders seeking a robust and smooth transmission for road and versatile use. The MVXZ design combines perforated side plates to reduce weight, large diameter pins for better mechanical strength, and QX (QX-Ring) seals intended to reduce friction between links.
The result: slower wear and increased longevity compared to a standard O-ring chain, with a relative lifespan announced to be up to 1.5 to 2 times greater depending on usage conditions. Ideal for OEM replacement on demanding drivetrains, it is suitable for motorcycles that require a 525 pitch chain.
Whether you are urban, trail, roadster, or engaged on the track, the 525MVXZ2 presents itself as a high-performance option to maintain your transmission — links, sprocket, and crown — and get back on the road with complete peace of mind. Follow the installation and tensioning recommendations to get the best out of this EK chain.
