The EK 525MVXZ2 QX-Ring 525 drive chain is designed for riders seeking durability and smooth transmission. Developed by EK CHAIN, it combines lightweight plates with machining holes, reinforced diameter pins, and QX seals aimed at reducing friction for smoother rotation and increased longevity. Ideal for those replacing a worn chain or upgrading to a reinforced transmission on roadsters, trails, sportbikes, or touring bikes.

• Manufacturer reference: 525MVXZ2-STL 118 MLJ
• Type: QX-Ring
• Pitch: 525
• Number of links: 118
• Color: Steel / Steel
• Relative lifespan (100 links): 3500
• Weight: 1.89 kg / 100 links

The MVXZ construction focuses on reducing mass through cutouts in the side plates while maintaining the necessary rigidity for the transmitted torque. The QX seals reduce friction losses and protect the pin and bushing from particle ingress, contributing to delayed wear—the chain can offer a lifespan superior to that of a standard O-ring chain, up to 1.5 to 2 times longer depending on usage conditions.

Versatile, it fits into many environments: urban, roadster, trail/adventure, sport, touring, enduro, supermoto, vintage, and quad. Examples of applications: KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO, Ducati Diavel V4, Honda NT 1100.
