The EK/PBR chain kit 520M3 12/48 is designed for motocross riders who want a robust and lightweight transmission. The gold chain combined with an ultra-light aluminum sprocket reduces the overall weight while maintaining good abrasion and traction resistance — a common choice on tracks where every gram counts.
- Pitch: 520
- Configuration: kit 12/48 (sprocket/crown)
- Number of links: 114
- Color: Gold / Gold
- Weight: 1.36 kg for 100 links
- Relative lifespan: index 450 (based on 100 links)
Designed to limit friction and wear on demanding terrains, this EK chain easily fits most 520 compatible motocross and enduro bikes. The aluminum sprocket lightens the transmission without adding bulk, making it practical for timed runs or back-to-back sessions.
Ideal as a replacement or for track preparation, it is particularly suitable for SUZUKI RM-Z 250 (2007-2009) and other trail/cross bikes of similar size. To maintain its properties, regular maintenance is essential: cleaning, lubrication, and tension checks are crucial for the longevity of your chain and the safety of the drivetrain.
