EK/PBR 520MRD7 13/50 Chain Kit - Ultra-Light Sprocket
Designed by EK CHAIN, this chain kit features a configuration tailored for motocross use: 13-tooth front sprocket / 50-tooth ultra-light aluminum rear sprocket, 520 pitch chain, and Gold/Gold color. Engineered to minimize friction while maintaining resistance to tension and abrasion suitable for competitive demands, it is aimed at discerning riders who navigate abrasive and changing terrains.
- Number of links: 116
- Pitch: 520
- Color: Gold / Gold
- Sprocket material: Aluminum (ultra-light)
- Weight: 1.47 kg / 100 links
- Lifetime index (for 100 links): 450
The 13/50 setup offers a gear ratio compromise suitable for motocross bikes (sharp accelerations and quick recoveries). The ultra-light aluminum sprocket reduces unsprung mass without compromising compatibility with transmission requirements. The chain and sprockets form a cohesive drive system, designed to withstand the demands of the track.
Main compatibility: notably Husaberg TE 300 (2012 to 2014) — check clearance and spacing before installation. To prolong lifespan: regular tension checks, appropriate lubrication, and inspection of links and teeth after muddy or dusty rides.
