This kit is designed for motocross use: the aluminum sprocket reduces mass compared to a steel sprocket, while the 520H chain offers a solid compromise between longevity and compactness. Standard installation and maintenance: check the tension, lubricate regularly, and monitor the wear of links and teeth to ensure safe transmission. It is recommended to replace the sprocket, chain, and sprocket simultaneously for consistent drive.
Notable compatibilities: YAMAHA YZ 250 (1995, 1996, 1997) — suitable for other enduro/motocross bikes equipped with a 520 pitch after verifying the number of teeth and chain length.
