The EK/PBR 520MRD7 12/50 chain kit - ultra-light sprocket is designed for motocross riders looking for a lightweight and sleek setup without compromising on durability. Built around a gold 520 MRD7 chain and an ultra-light aluminum sprocket, this kit is suited to the demands of the terrain (jumps, freewheeling, mud) while minimizing unsprung weight.
- Type: Chain kit (12-tooth sprocket / 50-tooth sprocket)
- Chain: 520 MRD7, 116 links, Gold/Gold color
- Pitch: 520
- Sprocket: Ultra-light aluminum
- Weight: 1.47 kg for 100 links
- Durability index: 450 (reference for 100 links)
The gold finish facilitates visual inspection for wear, and the aluminum sprocket reduces rotational mass for a more responsive rear wheel behavior. This kit will particularly suit motocross machines and those listed as compatible (e.g., KTM 300 EXC TPI ERZBERGRODEO 2020–2022), but be sure to check the pitch, number of links, and spacing before installation. A product from the EK CHAIN brand, it is aimed at demanding riders seeking reliability and lightweight performance for their competition or training outings.
