The 14/51 gearing offers a configuration focused on acceleration and responsiveness out of corners — useful on winding tracks and jumps in the motocross paddock. The aluminum of the sprocket reduces inertia but requires regular monitoring and tension adjustment to maintain longevity. Ideal for riders seeking a weight/performance compromise while keeping up with rigorous maintenance.
Compatibility: suitable for motocross machines accepting a 520 kit; example installation listed for HONDA CR 250 R (ME03) 1986 - 250 cm³. Always check the number of teeth and chain length required for your motorcycle before installation.
