EK/PBR 520MRD7 15/48 Chain Kit - Ultra-Light Sprocket by EK CHAIN, designed for motocross and competition use. This kit combines a high-performance 520 chain and an ultra-light aluminum sprocket to reduce unsprung mass without sacrificing strength under the demands of off-road riding.
- Type: 520 Chain Kit (reference EK/PBR 520MRD7)
- Sprocket/Chain Ratio: 15/48
- Color: Gold / Gold
- Number of Links: 114
- Sprocket Material: Aluminum (ultra-light)
- Relative Lifespan: 450 (for 100 links)
- Weight: 1.47 kg / 100 links (manufacturer's indication)
Designed to minimize friction and provide good resistance to tension and abrasion, this setup is suitable for riders who heavily rely on their transmission in demanding terrains (sand, mud, roots, rocks). The aluminum sprocket reduces inertia for a more responsive behavior at low RPM, while the gold chain makes it easier to visually monitor wear.
Installation is compatible with several off-road models — notably the HUSQVARNA WR 360 (1997–1999). Before installation, check the 520 pitch, the number of links, and the sprocket/chain alignment. Regularly monitor tension and lubrication to maximize the lifespan of the kit.
