Without O-rings (non-O), it prioritises simplicity and mechanical strength: plates and pins made from carbon alloy steel, heat treatments and shot peening to limit wear in severe conditions. The chain is pre-tensioned and pre-stretched for reduced elongation from the outset, useful on demanding trails where transmission precision matters.
