Magnum Shielding – Throttle / Idle Cable (ref. 5425)

Designed for vintage-style machines and touring bikes, this Magnum Shielding cable combines a neat finish with components designed for the road. The polished stainless steel braided conductor offers a silver appearance that matches other Magnum controls and hoses. All fittings are polished and available in chrome or black chrome for a coordinated look on your handlebars or grips.

• Materials: polished stainless steel braiding, transparent scratch-resistant outer sheath (does not yellow)
• Construction: anti-friction inner sheath, nylon adjustment inserts, factory lubricated for smooth operation
• Specifications: sheath length 78 cm (30-3/4"), bend angle 90°, travel 12.1 cm (4-3/4")
• Bend compatibility: cables with non-threaded bends (note: applications before 1996 generally use threaded bends, after 1996 non-threaded bends)
• Assembly: assembled in the USA — indicated length corresponds to the outer sheath, bends excluded

Aesthetic and robust, this cable is aimed at Dyna and cruiser owners looking for a classic-looking control without sacrificing manufacturing quality. Check bends and dimensions before installation to ensure compatibility with your Harley (e.g. FXDWG, FXDL, FXDF 1690).
