The friction discs of the DPK Series are heat treated and ready to use — no prior soaking in oil required — for immediate power transmission. The smooth steel discs limit deformation and premature wear compared to the original aluminium discs and contribute to an increased lifespan (up to nearly 300% according to the manufacturer). The shot-peened and heat-treated springs aim to reduce slippage and improve lever feel.
