The system includes the famous:

• patented adjustable clutch (delta clutch).
• In addition, a clutch bell that is reinforced to avoid defects (wing clutch bell) with cooling fins, dynamically balanced, developed for competition and sporting use.

Delta clutch

The Delta clutch was developed for competition scooters and quickly became the product benchmark in its field and a key to more power.

The simplicity of the system allows for a quick adjustment of the spring stiffness to the centrifugal forces and also offers the option of exchanging springs with different spring stiffnesses (K-value).

The corresponding spring stiffnesses (K values) are listed in the Malossi catalog. In addition, this system offers an adjustment of the position of the small mass. This influences the pressure between the friction material and the clutch bell. The small mass can also be exchanged with other masses/clutch weights of different weights.

The entire system is patented to prevent brazen copying and counterfeiting attempts.

The Delta Clutch has become established as a standard product with many experienced tuning professionals and the facts speak for themselves: the Delta Clutch is used by all racing teams and countless competition pilots, and sales figures are constantly increasing.

As with all other products, Malossi continuously tests the Delta coupling in use. This has allowed the coupling to be successively optimized through small but crucial updates. This has enabled the Delta coupling to defend its leading market position. We are very proud that our Malossi couplings are asbestos-free. A great deal of research has been invested in achieving the current quality standard in terms of reliability and friction material. We can now confirm with great certainty that we have the exclusive formula for developing a material that is resistant to high temperatures and does not change its friction coefficient even after long-term use.

• Forged clutch bell made of Fe DC04 deep-drawn steel;
• Carbon steel splines machined from round bar and TIG welded.
• Surface nitride hardened.
• Knurled reinforcing ring, made of milled carbon steel, bronzed surface treatment, press-fitted.
• 100% dynamically balanced.
