Maxi Fly MALOSSI System - Centrifugal Clutch with ø160 Bell
Designed by Malossi for demanding urban conditions, this Maxi Fly combines a reinforced centrifugal clutch (Fly Clutch) and a steel ø160 bell (Clutch Bell) to withstand the repeated stresses of stop & go. Ideal for scooters subjected to frequent re-accelerations, hill starts, or carrying a passenger, it focuses on robustness and thermal management rather than numerical promises.
- Fly Clutch: reinforced centrifugal clutch, developed from Malossi's experience gained through numerous tests and competitions.
- Clutch Bell: soft steel DC04 bell, cold pressed and thermally treated by soft nitriding for better wear resistance.
- Careful construction: carbon steel hub welded with TIG, anti-vibration rim stamped and fixed by three weld points at 120°.
- Fully dynamically balanced production to limit vibrations and preserve the transmission.
