The Ø125 mm bell is forged from deep-drawing steel (Fe DC04) with a central hub made of carbon steel, machined from a round bar and then TIG welded. An anti-vibration band is welded in 3 points at 120° to limit imbalances, and the whole assembly is dynamically balanced at 100%. The surface is treated with nitriding to enhance wear resistance.
