DRAG SPECIALTIES Connecting Rod Kit (Manufacturer's Ref: 80041)
Complete connecting rod kit, designed as a reinforced replacement for Vintage/Classic and Touring motorcycles equipped with original engines. Each set comes fully assembled and ready to install for a quick replacement during an engine overhaul or when replacing stressed components.
- Material: heat-treated forged steel for enhanced mechanical strength
- Style: heavy-duty, suitable for the stresses of Big Twin engines
- Kit contents: forged steel connecting rod, two-hole crank pin, aluminium stops, bearings, nuts
- Rod ends: small and tapered (check during installation)
- Standard: meets or exceeds OEM specifications
This kit is aimed at riders concerned about the reliability of the bottom end: connecting rods and internal components provided to ensure correct timing and smooth crankshaft rotation. Before installation, it is essential to check the clearance between the connecting rod and the crankshaft and to adhere to the torque specifications recommended by the manufacturer.
