Features

PROX Connecting Rod Kit - Yamaha XT500 (manufacturer part number: 03.2576)

This PROX connecting rod kit is designed for restoration enthusiasts or mechanics who are bringing a Yamaha XT 500 (model years 1976-1977) back to life. Engineered to ensure the connection between the piston and the crankshaft, it allows for the replacement of stressed components in the engine during a rebuilding or complete overhaul.

In line with the roadster spirit of the XT500, this kit is aimed at riders who want to regain the flexibility and presence of their single-cylinder engine during acceleration. Easily integrable into a standard restoration, it is installed during the engine disassembly and inspection of wear parts (bearings, crankpin, side play).

Compatibility: YAMAHA XT 500 (1976 - 1977)
Usage: restoration, engine overhaul, original preparation
Brand: PROX — manufacturer part number 03.2576

Be sure to check the condition of the crankshaft and follow the assembly procedures recommended by the manufacturer (checking clearances, lubrication, torque specifications). If you are unsure about the assembly, entrust the operation to a professional to ensure a safe and durable installation.
