Titanium reduces the mass at the exhaust and offers excellent resistance to the high temperatures encountered on the track. The installation is designed to integrate cleanly with the original harness without modifying the line itself; however, intervention by a qualified workshop is recommended to ensure alignment and sealing.
To make the most of the combination of Track Day silencer + link pipe, Akrapovic recommends reprogramming the ECU to adjust the injection and achieve a consistent throttle response. Compatible with YAMAHA YZF-R1M / YZF-R1 (RN65) 2024 and YZF-R1 R1 GYTR (RN65) 2023 according to manufacturer reference.
