Touratech — Aluminium for cylinder (black)

Give your BMW boxer the adventure-ready protection it deserves: these black aluminium cylinder guards dress and shield the exposed parts of R1250 motorcycles. Made from 4 mm aluminium, they wrap around the cylinders to limit scratches and direct forces away from the valve cover in the event of a slide. Their understated and sporty look perfectly complements the road/adventure aesthetic.

• Compatibility: for BMW R1250GS, R1250R, R1250RS, R1250RT.
• Delivered: set for both cylinders.
• Material: aluminium, black finish.
• Function: protection against light impacts, stone projection, and abrasion.

Specifically designed to account for the geometry of the shiftcam system, these guards reduce the risk of damage to the valve cover in case of an incident. For optimal integration with the protection frame (ref. 01-037-5160-0 and 01-037-5162-0), Touratech recommends using part 01-037-5169-0. Note: for mounting with the original BMW engine guards (R1250 GS Adventure), the original rubber element must be removed. Not suitable with Option 917 covers.
