Stainless Steel for Cylinder - Silver by Touratech: the protection designed for the exposed cylinders of the BMW Boxer. Made from stainless steel, this cover protects the cylinder heads from scratches and light impacts caused by manoeuvres, gravel projections, or road slides. Its design follows the silhouette of the cylinder to limit the transmission of forces to the cylinder head cover and the Shiftcam mechanism of the R1250, which are particularly sensitive areas.

The robust profile and careful installation reduce the risk of significant damage to the valve cover: an impact that could otherwise interrupt your journey will often result in just a simple scratch on the protector. For optimal integration with the protection bars, pairing with references 01-037-5160-0 and 01-037-5162-0 requires part 01-037-5169-0. If you combine this stainless steel with the original BMW engine protections (R1250 GS Adventure), remove the rubber element beforehand. Not suitable with Option 917 covers.
