Features

Reference: VERTEX VTK23928D-4 — Complete top-end kit (cast piston) designed for the Cross universe. Designed for engine refurbishment, this kit gathers all the necessary parts to replace the piston and sealing components during maintenance or a rebuild.

Kit contents: piston, rings, piston pin, circlips, top-end gaskets, needle cage (2T applications).
Type: cast aluminum piston
Piston compression: Standard
Bore diameter: 54.00 mm — piston diameter Ø 53.970 mm (oversize letter: D)

Vertex is known for its ready-to-install kits that simplify the restoration of the top end: no need to hunt for every small component, everything is included for assembly. The cast aluminum piston and the provided rings are suitable for machining operations corresponding to oversize D. The presence of the needle cage in the 2T versions ensures compatibility with the specific connecting rods of two-strokes.

Common compatibilities (examples): KTM 125 SX (2025), HUSQVARNA TC 125 (2025), GAS GAS MC 125 (2025). Always check the bore dimensions and manufacturer reference before installation.
