The ATHENA Ø95 mm cylinder kit for Yamaha YFZ450 is designed for engine modifications on quads, providing a robust base to increase bore and displacement. Designed by ATHENA, a specialist in thermal groups, this kit combines materials and meticulous finishing to meet the demands of the track as well as off-road outings.
- Bore: Ø 95 mm, suitable for YFZ450 (see compatibilities below).
- Cylinder body: aluminum sleeve treated with nickel-carbide for increased wear resistance.
- Cooling: specific design increasing the coolant volume for better thermal management.
- High-quality parts: forged piston with skirts treated with molybdenum disulfide, high-performance exhaust valves, and bronze dome cylinder head.
- Spare parts: available references – Piston 8601DA, Rings XSY9500, Cylinder head gasket 604450.
The kit is delivered complete with piston, rings, circlips, piston pin, and gaskets; depending on the versions, it may include the cylinder head and exhaust valves. Installation is recommended by a qualified mechanic to respect tolerances and engine calibration.
