The motorcycle's digital signal is used. If the motorcycle does not provide a digital signal, an active universal speed sensor or a speedometer adapter as well as an induction cable set for speed determination can be ordered optionally.

Sold without speed sensor: However, these gauges allow for the retrieval of the signal from most original digital speed sensors. If you do not have one, it is possible to order the Daytona speed sensor or a Daytona signal converter that allows you to use your original mechanical sensor and convert the signal to digital for use with Daytona gauges.
