Black House Indicator by Puig
Front LED indicator with clear glass and black polypropylene housing, designed to replace original components. Engineered to ensure clear signaling and discreet integration on the front of the motorcycle. Detailed technical information provided for electrical adaptation and connection to the wiring harness.
Design and Materials
- Polypropylene housing for a lightweight and durable part, facilitating handling during installation
- Black finish allowing for discreet integration on most fairings
- Clear glass paired with 70x24mm LEDs for sharp light diffusion during directional changes
- Item dimensions (mm) 15 x 18.5 enabling installation of the indicator in tight spaces
- Item weight 90 g reducing load on the mounts and simplifying installation
Safety and Standards
- Motorcycle-approved indicators ensuring compliance with road use
- E-mark E8-0010440 certification providing the official reference for compliance
Practicality and Features
- LED lighting offering significantly lower power consumption compared to incandescent bulbs
- The flashing frequency depends on the type of relay used on the motorcycle; it is advisable to install the indicators and then check the frequency
- When replacing incandescent bulbs with LEDs, two options can balance the frequency, including adding resistors in parallel
- Recommended resistors Ref. 4298O for four indicators and Ref. 5873O for two indicators, specific kit Ref. 22607O for Kawasaki Z900/SE 2025 and connection diagram provided with the resistors
- Important note: using resistors may prevent the correct functioning of the hazard lights on most models
- Some motorcycles do not have a specific indicator relay, which may make replacement impossible, and some LED indicators may flash faster if the polarity is reversed
