Primary Chain TOURMAX Yamaha XJ650/750/900 - Ref. PCM-203

Designed for Yamaha XJ roadsters, this Tourmax primary chain is aimed at riders looking for a reliable replacement part for the primary transmission. Compatible with XJ650, XJ750, and XJ900 models, it features the necessary dimensions and mounting points for a hassle-free replacement installation.

Tourmax is known for its catalogue of transmission components; the PCM-203 chain is intended to operate between the engine and the clutch, where it transmits engine torque before the gearbox. Regular replacement of the primary chain and inspection of the associated sprockets are key steps to maintain a healthy transmission and safe road behaviour.

Installation and maintenance tips:

• Check the condition of the sprockets and primary cover during replacement; it is recommended to change the sprockets if wear is visible.
• Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for tension adjustment and any necessary lubrication.
• Inspect the chain periodically to prevent excessive play or abnormal noise.
