Dainese presents its approved back protector, Action Wave:

Ergonomic back protection (CE EN 1621/2 and compliant with the requirements of BSI 7971-4 Clause 5.6.2) highly ventilated with a three-level structure
External shell (made of shock-resistant polypropylene) wavy and ventilated to distribute the energy caused by the impact over the entire surface in the impact zone
Internal honeycomb structure (Nidaplast®) 10 mm thick. This material ensures high rigidity and has the ability to deform progressively and in a controlled manner, both in the event of minor shocks and in the presence of significant impacts, guaranteeing high protection with a contained weight
Support made of high-density material (to absorb and distribute the forces produced by the impact) and polyester mesh to ensure high breathability
In the central area (in contact with the body), a 3D mesh insert maximises breathability
Removable and adjustable straps
Double velcro adjustable lumbar belt
Patented lumbar joint for total lateral flexion
This model is designed for "Standard" sizes (Height waist/shoulders: 41.5cm to 46cm)
