The AXP Adventure skid plate made of 8 mm HDPE is designed to protect the engine bottom and sensitive components of your adventure motorcycle. Made from high-density polyethylene, it provides a combination of lightweight and impact resistance: its geometry allows it to slide over obstacles while the material retains a certain elasticity after impact. The front and rear mounts attach directly to the engine block, with a shimming system for enhanced stability during installation.
8 mm thick foam pads glued on the sides and under the reinforcement help limit friction and absorb shocks, preserving the casing, water pump, and exhaust. The skid plate integrates compatibility with OEM BMW crash bars and SW-Motech crash bars, facilitating assembly on motorcycles equipped with tubular protections.
