AXP Xtrem Skid Plate with Linkage Protection - PHD 8mm (Ref. AX1662)

Designed for both the paddock and the track, this AXP skid plate made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) protects the lower part of the frame up to the footpegs. With a thickness of 8 mm, it covers the engine cases, water pump, and shock linkage to limit impacts and debris during motocross outings.

The HDPE provides good resistance to shocks and scratches while maintaining a low weight: announced weight is 1.5 kg. According to the manufacturer, this skid plate is up to 30–40% lighter than an aluminum equivalent, which reduces the impact on the machine's inertia. AXP also states that it limits vibration transmission and resists common deformations during off-road use.
