Engine guard / protection plate by Hepco & Becker, specially developed for the BMW R 1300 GS (2023-). Made from high-strength aluminium approximately 4 mm thick, with a brushed and anodised silver finish, this plate protects the engine casing and sensitive areas of the collector from shocks, stones, and impacts during road or off-road outings. Its studied shape allows air to pass through for cooling and, when inclined, facilitates the drainage of water and splashes.
